| I BELIEVE IN AMERICA is a fast-paced film
in which the audience must be actively involved in piecing together its
complex web of events and characters. With duplicity and anonymity defining
the current state of the “Movement,” one can never know who’s
on whose side. Will that side change as a result of orders from above? Where
is above? Who is really in charge? These are some of the mysteries to figure
out as the plot unfolds.
By using a variety of techniques, I BELIEVE IN AMERICA challenges the notion of ordinary storytelling. This unconventional narrative uses cutting edge, in-your-face cinematography and editing to convey the emotional state of the characters as the actors command the screen.
